Timothy Project: What is it?
The greatest concentration of unevangelized people groups lies within an area termed the 10-40 Window. Within this region poverty can be extreme, and the local culture difficult to penetrate. Christian persecution is widespread, and often severe.
Few independent Baptists from the United States minister in 10-40 countries. In fact there are no documented independent Baptist missionaries from the US in 20 of those nations. Less than 10% of all Baptist missionaries world-wide minister in 10-40 countries.

The Timothy Project provides temporary financial support to national church planters inside countries where there is no Gospel witness. The initial support of a church planter varies by country, but typically ranges from $75 to $150 per month. Thereafter it is reduced gradually over a five year period.
Periodically through our newsletters, we report on the progress these church planters make in reaching lost souls for Christ. But since most minister in places of religious extremism, our updates are worded carefully to protect their identity.
We have men ready to enter the mission field in East Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and undisclosed areas. If you would like to become a partner in the Timothy Project and help a church planter, click here.
