Timothy Project: What is it?

The purpose of The Timothy Project to place national church planters into cities and villages where there is no Gospel witness. The goal is to establish independent Baptist churches in countries in the 10-40 window.

Within the 10-40 window are 90% of the world's unreached people groups. Within this region are 45 of the 50 nations where Christian persecution is greatest. In more than 20 of the countries inside the 10-40 window, there are no independent Baptist missionaries from the United States.

Having a desire to enable and accelerate the spread of the Gospel without developing permanent financial dependence, we support church planters temporarily by gradually decreasing support over a five year period. Currently we support church planters in Sudan, Ethiopia, India, and Myanmar. Monthly support starts from $75 to $150/month and provides all their monthly living expenses.

We have men ready and waiting to enter the mission field in other parts of East Africa, and Southeast Asia. If you would like to become a partner in the Timothy Project and help send a church planter to the field, click here.

For security reasons, we cannot identify the men in our program.
